About us

Our name's are Stormi and Charles, along with our kids, Ashlan and Joey.....we are Familytime Rags. We live in a suburb of the Oklahoma City area. We began our adventure with the Ragdoll breed in 2000 when we decided to get a Ragdoll as our family pet. Since then, our kids have grown up. Ashlan was recently married to a wonderful man in June 2021, who has felt like part of our family for many years now. Ashlan just finished her Masters Program in Spring 2024. She and her husband, Sam, recently blessed us with our very first grandbaby. She also started her own Ragdoll cattery, FAMILYTIMEDOLLS, several years ago. Joey has started his Masters program at OU, and has 2 Ragdolls that travel with him from his home to ours.

Our heart, Toulouse, and the whole reason behind FamilytimeRags

We fell in love with the Ragdoll breed, because of our first Ragdoll, Toulouse. He helped to begin our adventure with showing and breeding Ragdolls. In 2003, we decided to purchase our first breeding pair. We believe that showing our Ragdolls is important, this gives us feedback from many judges as well as our fellow Ragdoll breeders. We also believe that it is the written breed standard that tells us what a Ragdoll should be, so we strive to breed towards the written breed standard, breeding only Blue-eyed, Pointed Ragdolls. We believe caging is cruel, and we would never cage any of our cats or kittens here. All of our girls have full run of the house. Our studs have a room all to themselves where each still gets love, attention, and playtime from our family. We have cat beds throughout the house, but our beds are also just as much theirs. We have cat toys and cat trees throughout the home as well.

We enjoy our Ragdolls as a family, each of us place a piece of our hearts with each kitten born here, we think of showing and breeding Ragdolls, as our fun, expensive hobby. We have now been breeding Ragdolls for 20 years, and enjoy giving back in many ways.

In 2010, we began working alongside Elaine Poy-Smith of Purrla Ragdolls on our Traditional line Ragdolls. In 2014, Elaine and I decided that we would like to work on a Traditional Chocolate and Lilac program. It was our dream to one day have show quality, Chocolate and LIlac Ragdolls.
Sadly, we lost Elaine in October 2017, but it is our goal to continue her lines and legacy, as well as the dream we shared of Chocolate and Lilac Ragdolls.

Our goal in our breeding program, is health, temperament, and beautiful Ragdolls that your family will enjoy for their lifetime. You can visit our home, our cats, our family, and know that the cats are treated as family members, and that their health and well being always comes first. We try to make the moment that you pick out your Ragdoll kitten very special. We hope that all adoptive parents feel comfortable to continue to share pictures and updates as the kittens grow.
